4 to a room $180 a person ($25 deposit or selling an ad)
3 to a room $365 a person ($40 deposit or selling an ad)
2 to a room $535 a person ($60 deposit or selling an ad)
1 to a room $710 a person ($100 deposit or selling an ad)

Registrations received after May 17, will incur a $40 late fee.
Registrations received after June 17, will incur a $70 late fee and subject to availability.
When is Convention 2025?
Convention 2025 will be held on July 17-20, 2025 at the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road
Why is Convention “Early” this year?
Convention has moved around from July to August. The past several years our use of
the Masonic Home Camp revolved around the Camp Turk program. We also wanted a
date that would not conflict with KeyMan or Region 1 LTC. The cost of convention also
depended on which weekend we used.
Why are we not using the Masonic Home Camp?
The Masonic Home Camp is booked for a paid wedding requiring the use of the chapel
and 100 sleeping beds. The Masonic Home Camp is not big enough to accommodate
both events. The only other weekends conflicted with Regents Exams or Labor Day.
What was the process used to select the location?
The State Executive Committee took a look at hotels, conference centers, college
campuses and reviewed about a dozen bids. Site visits were made and pros and cons
were weighed.
Are there opportunities to earn financial assistance?
Yes! Youth leaders can sell ads for the 2025 Convention Program and Ad Journal. Discount commissions will be applied to your balance.
How many ads would it take to go to convention for free?
It depends. If you opt for the 4 to a room, four day convention package and you sell 4
$100 page ads, your cost is fully covered.
1st $100 Ad = $30 off ($150 balance)
2nd $100 Ad = $40 off ($110 balance)
3rd $100 Ad = $50 off ($60 balance)
4th $100 Ad = $60 off ($0 balance)
If you sell 2 half black and white ads, one color ad, and 1 B/W ad:
1st $60 Ad = $18 off ($162 balance)
2nd $60 Ad = $24 off ($138 balance)
3rd $100 Ad = $50 off ($88 balance)
4th $150 Ad = $90 off ($0 balance)
Commission rules:
1. The name of the seller is the person earning the credit for the ad sale.
2. We will count the highest percentage to the highest value ad sold.
3. The commission can be used to pay for the costs of Convention
4. All ads must be in keeping with the spirit of DeMolay.
5. Cover sales costs may be shared across a chapter at 75%
